GDT: Game 70: St. Louis vs St. Louis - Tue, Mar 25, 8pm Edt. | TSN2, RDS, Victory+, Matrix-MW

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Ok so get drunk then. If you were really drunk right now you wouldn’t be able to type those coherent sentences.
My tolerance keeps going up with every win. I need more alcohol, people of the earth please provide me more of this sustenance.

I have watches every game this year. this must be the 12th time habs gets scored on in the last 30 seconds of a period. must be a record

Suzuki and Hutson are both going to need 4 point games for us to have a chance.:amazed:

I really hate this soft approach of clearing our zone. If you are flipping pucks constantly there is a huge problem. I counted four or five turnovers on soft exit dumps not to mention it's so much easier for the Blues to control the neutral zone.

Offense has been bailing out the sub-par goaltending for the past 6 games (4, 3, 6, 3, 4, 4 goals in those games). Goalies are due to bail out the offense, but it's not happening.

Our zone defense approach tonight appears to be the time tested “hopes and prayers” strategy. Interesting timing for the application of it during a hotly contested playoff race, but MSL is playing 3D Chess I guess.

Terrible opening first period, other than the brief 30 seconds where Hutson and the to unit got some offensive zone time.

The only guy who should be holding his head up after that 20 minutes is Montembeault. It could be much worse without him being stellar. Both goals had Habs players in front of him moving less than the Statue of Liberty has in a couple of centuries.

Let’s hope someone hits them with a cattle prod during their intermission and wake them up out of their coma

This game wouldn't be 5-1 without Monty most of the shots game from outside the danger zone.

The point i was making is that he made some great saves while the rest of the team didn't register a shot until they cleared it when they were on the PK. I'll be the first to criticize Monty but let's keep things within context. Hopefully the team can get inspired and start attacking!

There weren't any great saves, all routine.
