What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerThe counter is Skinner has fully committed to what Knob has preached judging by all his metrics. They have improved every single month to the point that since Jan 1 he’s been one of our most defensive minded forwards. Not only that, by the eye test, you can see he is fully committed to the d-zone because he is constantly back tracking, and last game alone he probably saved 2 goals. Jonathan Willis tweeted his metrics last week. There is absolutely not argument against Skinner. To top it off J Skinner has never complained.I don't follow the exact placement of players in the flow of a game so much, but I'd have to guess that if Skinner isn't getting the opportunities he appears to deserve, it's likely that he isn't committing to his role in the team's systems. A player scoring goals doesn't mean he's doing all the other little things, and it undermines the whole team to allow exceptions. Also, in playoffs, anyone not committing fully will be your downfall. In the regular season you can get away with it.
I don't know if that's the reason, but it at least makes sense. Knoblauch is more knowledgeable about hockey decisions like this than anyone here.
It's also possible that against this opponent maybe spreading out talent is the right call. What would matter is how these lines are used.
Seconded. Unless there’s something I’m missing he’s committed to the system and is in the right positions defensively. He’s even winning his share of board battles and turning pucks over. The counter is Skinner has fully committed to what Knob has preached judging by all his metrics. Thanks I knew his game had gone downhill since Xmas so I wondered that.Emerson hasnt been good lately. I’m guessing once Klingberg is healthy he’ll take Stechers spot for a few games.
Knob already instructed Bowman to call up Caggiula after that display from m Skinner.Someone tell Skinner he's about to be demoted to the fourth line for those chances.
