Big game for sure with all the extra Nash stuff, but the nut of it is this is a game against a division opponent with whom the Jackets are battling for playoff position. All the thumbs-up-or-thumbs-down stuff is fun for the fans but my guess is the players couldn't care less.

Before the game, I don't care if fans cheer or boo, or if the players exchange pleasantries, but once the puck drops, 61 in white is just another opponent.

I'll salute Nash, hell of a guy, hell of a player, but let's kick the **** out of the Rags and send a message.

Dubinsky, 5 pims, GWG, Goride Howie hatty. 3-1 good guys.

This is a game to be at. Looks like ticket sales are stronger. Maybe on track for around 17,500+, maybe better if lots of walk-ups. Unfortunately, I have an out-of-town commitment and can't go:(.

Should be the closest thing to a playoff game we've seen at NWA since 2009. Only other game comparable since then would be the Game 82 vs. Nashville last year. I give this game the nod over Nashville because Nashville wasn't in the playoff hunt and wasn't reciprocating the urgency like NYR likely will tonight.

Can't wait for tonights game! I'm ready for the video tribute to Nash! If anyone from this organization deserves it - he does! And I do hope he comes back at some point (i.e. player at the end of his career or something in the front office after he retires). I plan to wear one of my Nash jerseys tonight especially because the front still says Blue Jackets and that 61 is on my back..in the past! And I know that someday (and many will probably disagree) ...that 61 is going to be hanging in the rafters!

Once the puck drops tonight he's just an opposing player like the rest of the Rangers. I will not boo him every time he touches the puck (he's not Carter and shouldn't ever be compared to him and what he did)!

I remember there was talk about the trade request that in return we'd some great players....and he was right! Can you imagine this team without Dubinsky and Arty? What about Erixson? And didn't we use that draft pick to snag Kerby Rychel?

Yeah it stung a little (Stinger!) at first but its been a long time... Let's thank him for what he did for us and move on! And get those 2 points!

Super stoked for the game tonight. Got the tickets for Christmas from my brother so I've been waiting awhile for this one.

I'll clap for the Nash tribute but when the puck drops he is just another player on the wrong team.

I'll be in 210 with my 4 year old. Stop by and say hi.

Not going to begrudge those that want to cheer Nash tonight...

in my opinion, there's a time to celebrate Rick Nash's time with the CBJ, and it's after he is done playing. The jackets are in the midst of a playoff positioning dogfight with the rangers, and tonight, a man that, even though I don't question his reasons, still wanted to end the relationship with the organization and the city will be celebrated. I don't think anything beyond an additional acknowledgement at introductions is necessary tonight.

Carry on all.

Yep. Can save the Nash stuff for another day. Don't need any lovefest before this one.

Go Jackets!!!

Well, at least you have reason, if not sense. ;) :sarcasm:

Welcome Back, Rick! We hope you arrive happy and content, and leave despondent and unfulfilled. :D
