Unbelievable. This team plays like they desperately don't want Schaefer on the team. What does Grier need to do to get this team to last place? The man has done everything necessary put this team in the position to have the highest chance to get Schaefer.
They're in last place. They will finish in the bottom two unless Nashville and Buffalo lose out. The young players who will be the future of this team had six points on their three goals. Is playing like they don't want to lose a bad thing?

Nice to see the Eklund-Celebrini-Smith line leading the team and generating both of our goals but I was also really impressed with the play of the Graf-Wennberg-Toffoli line. Even though they didn't hit the scoresheet, they had many shifts with sustained offensive zone pressure that led to chances that created momentum for the team. Thought Graf and Mukh had excellent games and I continue to be impressed by how they both have been developing this year.

Within 2 points of the Hawks but glad to get a win, see Cagnoni’s 1st point, 2 Celebrini assists, Eklund goal/assist, Smith point and Carlsson get 1st star. There were quite a few Bruins fans man. A lot of transplants. Expect the same for Leafs game.

Muhk looked fantastic today. He was everywhere, good defense, mobile offense, he looks really great.

Cagnoni is shockingly confident out there. Still getting used to the team and the league but I love his slick skating and the confidence to stick handle guys, etc. He also has a very good defensive stick. I think he might be a guy.

Eklund has looked fantastic lately too. And Smith beating people to pucks will never cease to amaze me after the first half of the year. Mack looks like Mack.

Kudos to Warsofsky for the continued development of this team, I give him a lot of credit here.

Can we take a moment and acknowledge that on the first goal, Cagnoni made a play that all the doubters thought he could never make, and on the one goal against, Desharnais made a blunder that all his detractors predicted would happen?

Need I mention that the venn diagram of Cagnoni doubters and Desharnais lovers is a perfect circle?
