Pretty sure that was ten tape to tape passes just on that shift alone.
I criticized him for it myself lol
It's pretty easy to see tho that a player gets a target on their back when they play for the Oilers. People will look for anything to knock that player with. You should know this as a Leafs fan. Your players get a **** ton of hate too
I agreeThere is no target on the back. He just makes the same bone-headed gaffes every game. No denying his offensive ability. His decision making however needs to improve.
He's not elite at this point sure, but I think he's still a good skater. I've seen some nice rushes from him. Plus I was talking mainly about his excellent shooting and passing in the Ozone, and being unfortunately prone to brain farts. Great stretch pass too. Maybe not the perfect comparison, do you have a better one? What? No ****ing way. Subban looked like the Bobby Orr of Jr with his unbelievable skating and end to end rushes.
Bouchard doesn't seem to be such a good skater.
He put about 5 right on the tee.How many more perfect passes does Glass have to make?
Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, it doesn't really look like giving Veleno an extended shot on a scoring line is something Hunter is likely to do. Except maybe in terms of injury.I don't think Veleno's been that bad, not great either but he's probably just a victim of Entwistle finding some chemistry with Studnicka and Bowers because the 4th line was pretty disjointed before today.
It is never embarrassing to be on Team CanadaLooks like Veleno lost his roster spot to Entwhistle. That's got to be humiliating.
They need another high end talent or two if they want to surpass the CzechsSwiss impress me more and more every year. Anyone see them surpassing Slovakia, maybe Czechia?
They have come a long way. I think they will be on par with the Slovaks and Czechs for a while.Swiss impress me more and more every year. Anyone see them surpassing Slovakia, maybe Czechia?
5 of them cross ice to Tippett
It's a little embarrassing to lose your spot to a guy you're significantly better than.It is never embarrassing to be on Team Canada

Entwhistle? Probably not. Veleno? I doubt he'd say it out loud.I doubt he sees it that way.
The skill is obviously there, with the nature of this tournament you never know. Look at Gadjovich who started hot last year and then ultinultim got benched in favour of Steenbergen who potted the gold medal winning goal.Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, it doesn't really look like giving Veleno an extended shot on a scoring line is something Hunter is likely to do. Except maybe in terms of injury.
He's not better than anyone in a top 6 role (where the type of player he is should be). And the others are more suited to the role that he's playing currently, it's simple. It's a little embarrassing to lose your spot to a guy you're significantly better than.
