Hellebuyck. Hire the best hypnotist you can find and try to convince him it's a regular season game in November. Change all the calendars in the dressing room, have everybody on the team go along with it.
He's the better goalie, and you go with him. Don't over think it.
Maybe if Skinner was a weaker goalie but some uber guru come playoff time, you pick him. But - they both struggle in playoffs, and so you go with the better goalie.
I know he's been terrible in playoff games. But he's unquestionably the better goalie. Even when he's terrible, Helle's not that much worse than Skinner. Skinner gives you no upside, and no hope for a quality performance.
I'll take the dud that just might figure it out and play great. No thanks to the dud that has no chance to even be average.
I think Hellebuyck would be a lot better in the playoffs if he had a lighter workload in the regular season. That was the problem with Bobvrovsky when he was with Columbus back when he had the "choker" label; the last few seasons he has been good for Florida in the playoffs now that he plays 5 to 10 fewer games during the regular season.
