One really good thing I'm taking away from this game:
Mavrik Bourque looked really, really good. I was a bit worried about his upside at this level, but if he can continue to build off last night then it won't be super different from the AHL for him (maybe not a PPG guy, but he's gonna put up some solid numbers up here in the future imo). Given more opportunity, I wouldn't rule out a decent season offensively out of him. Hopefully coaches were impressed with his 6 on 5 play yesterday, although I don't know who they would remove off the PP (won't be Benn of course, but should be).
