Expected them to be real sluggish. I'll take a 1-goal deficit after 1. Time to put on the pressure now.
Gotta say I'm sick of seeing JJ struggle out there. His passes are usually off by several feet. If I'm coach I tell JJ that if he thinks he doesn't have to show up until playoffs, that he isn't going to play until the playoffs. I really would bench him at least a game.

Wennberg needs to be sent down. He's simply not ready to contribute offensively in the big leagues. He needs to center Springfield's top line and learn how to control a game in the offensive zone.

We also need our D to pinch or we're a pretty bad team - it's the biggest thing that determines whether you have extended offensive zone time or we just turn it back over. But we usually don't start pinching until we're behind, which is the best explanation I have for why we stink so bad to begin with.

I'd like to see JJ and Wiz paired up permanently. They've been paired a few times the last couple games, and looked pretty good. Maybe they'll somehow give each other a spark. Neither of them have looked like themselves yet. They're difference makers, and they have to play at that level. Everyone has to pull on the rope. Not just Joey, Foligno, Hartnell, Cam, Letestu, etc.
I just don't see why Todd Richards doesn't put them together. They obviously have chemistry.

In Wennberg's case he's going to the AHL, so his pro contract isn't an issue. The contract only slides if he goes down to juniors or back to Europe. But from what I can tell the 9 game rule doesn't matter so much anymore even for those players.

Many don't care for Tropp but I do, he was part of the come back season last year and's currently getting scratched.... he's a great bottom line player imo...
