I forgot about Gary Agnew. I believe Hitch touted him as a something of a power play guru. Probably deserves some credit for how good our PP looks in the early going. We definitely have some new entries that weren't there last year.

Not disagreeing, but we have had interference calls this season for a lot less.

Agreed, this was more of a pre-lockout play. Some calls we've seen this season involve such insignificant contact that we're now jumping on any interference call on that play - justified or not.

It's so awesome watching Stewart flying down the wing. He looks like such a different player! I don't care so much if he doesn't score 30+ goals again, but it's that kind of effort he's needed all along.

I'd say Reaves's fight was pretty close. Nichol did get demolished though.

EDIT: We need this kill! They score here and they have all the momentum and it's a 1 goal game.

Something needs to be done about this PK. We basically have 4 pylons standing out there.

Yeah, our PK just stands there. Every team I've seen has a PK that pressures like crazy.

Blues played their B game in the first and that was good enough, but they played their D game in the 2nd and that wasnt good enough. Look for the Blues to play pretty well in the 3rd.

They are definitely looking forward here. Ive never seen the Blues play this lazy and still control a game, they are only competing hard when they are around the puck. Good sign, though. DET played like this for a long time. Picking up points when the team is at 80% of their compete level is great to see.
