Might've been the roughest shift by the top line with Leo on it yet in that respect.

On the PP2 unit, Boston is dedicating a player to stick close to Mac when he gets close to the slot. They really don't want Mac getting that one-timer opportunity.

When the PP ended, Mac backchecked hard to prevent a 2v1 situation and stole the puck at our blueline.

Gotta love the backchecking for this team. Great job, Cronin!

He has almost all the tools, and I even think his hockey IQ is good. But he has stone hands, so it limits anything he ever tries to do with the puck.

At my first Ducks game since I moved out of California. Not a horrendous start all things considered.

Yup. We were sluggish to start the game. Then we started hitting and fought back. Mac doesn't get an assist on the Gudas Cash, but he's the reason that we have a goal with his physical play and causing mayhem at the net.

Something feels weird... The Bruins have more penalties than we do after the 1st period.
