Savard played 3:22 in 1st period and was -2 (as was Xhekaj but he played almost 5 minutes).

Our weakest links are killing us. Savard-Xhekaj pairing. "2nd line". Montembeault, too (Malinski goal - he wasn't screened at all).

Habs were thoroughly outplayed in that period and didn't weather the storm.

If they push the tempo though, they might get back into this one because the avs are playing 3 games in 4 nights..

I also didn't like that first goal. There was a pretty balatant pick that caused the 3 on 2.

These shoes are made for @sampollock and that’s just what they’ll do … 🎼🎶🎵🎶

Missed the 1st but those goals against looked like straight ass

MSL needs to be drug tested idk why you don't start Dobes I can't believe it
Dobes let in some softies his last start too. Their stats aren't that much different. It's really not a big deal who starts, it's not going to change things much.

But he’s done enough to warrant a few games and give Savard a break. He can’t possibly be worse. Trudeau too really. Sometimes you should reward a young player for having a great AHL season.
Something tells me that Hughes and Cie paint themselves in the corner. By buying Suzuki demand. By not moving. The whole deal is that we are a team, and good enough to make it together. Sitting Savard, unfortunately, isn't based on that.

This is absolutely disgusting boys! They all forget how to play hockey or what?
We are playing against Colorado. It's great what the team is doing and all but it's still a bubble team lineup that will not match well against power house like Colorado unless the power house decide to take a day off. I mean they are trying can't say they are not.

There was a way to add depth without removing roster players, which is what Suzuki really meant. He didn’t want guys to leave. But they didn’t have to.

It's hilarious to listen to the Avs broadcast while reading this thread...

You'd think the Avs commentators were Habs fans compared to some of the ridiculous & ungrounded whinning and complaining posts about the habs in here lol
