GDT: Game 69: nice Red Wings at knights 8:00 pm et 3/22/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Building around Larkin and Seider is like how the wizards tried to build around John Wall and Bradley Beal. Maybe with the perfect supporting cast you sneak in a couple times to the playoffs but your not a serious team

Mo is having a bad game. He's generally good and one of the better defenders in the league.

Larkin is generally pretty good.

Raymond is generally pretty awesome.

But why is it that when we need these guys to be at their best, they play their worst? What causes these collapses? Why can't they get their shit together when it matters? And it's not just them, but the whole team. Who is there setting the tone?

It’s actually insane that I’m praying Petry gets back asap. f*** yzerman has been the most god awful d-core imaginable. Honestly pathetic

I don't think Larkin is a good leader and I don't think he should be captain. He essentially got the C because he's a hometown kid and was here before Seider/Raymond were. Seider could wear the C, or maybe Raymond, or maybe nobody right now. Larkin disappears anytime the games get tough and has been doing so for many years now. Raymond was at least willing this team into a playoff spot down the stretch last season.
