Probably don’t win the cup again before I’m dead. I guess it was just a longer honeymoon phase than usual.

Really bitter how every team caught up and passed us with ease even though we had a stranglehold two weeks ago.

I’d wager it’s him that doesn’t care, which in normal circumstances would be grounds for dismissal.

I think it's insane to accuse Yzerman of not caring...like obviously he cares, and is trying.

The reality is that hes just not a good manager, and hasnt helped this team go anywhere. I fully believe he is trying his best, but I also fully believe he is not doing a good enough job.

It's such a depressing time to be a fan of this team. I honestly don't even see a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not convinced this team makes the playoffs in the next 5 seasons.

Stevie needs to do his job and bring in actual talent, he’s done a horrible job in FA and trades. He’s to blame for a lot of this

People here will do anything to defend Yzerman, don't bother. The guys played quite well leading up to the deadline, and he did zero while our competitors added. Of course it can take the wind out of the sails of the locker room if you signal to them that you don't think they're worth adding to. But no matter what Yzerman does, a lot of people here think it's part of his master plan and the right thing to do.
