GDT: Game #69 - Jets@Oilers - 7PM - A Celebration Of Life

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Bad rebound by Skinner, but the puck only came that way from Walman making a poor decision in the ozone to reverse it back to Davo with 2 guys collapsing on him, rather than go D to D or dumping it downlow. Then Walman standing out front of Stu doing nothing when the puck comes off Perfetti's stick.

Same. Complete bs. Been subscribing to Sportsnet for years. Just for oilers games. This makes me want to research illegal streams and eff Sportsnet.
I was able to get it on TSN, but it seems silly you'd need to subscribe for 2 games a year. We are in both Edmonton and Winnipeg home region. I didn't mind Dennis Beyak as pbp for the Jets, this guy is just boring. I'm not a fan of Jack Michaels but he sounds like he has a pulse.

We really blaming a play in the offensive zone for that goal?

Mistakes happen. And it wasn't even that dangerous of an opportunity. Our shit stain goalie needs to not bleed terrible goals against.

The post you responded to started off by acknowledging Skinner's poor rebound control. I think that most hockey fans should also be able to analyze other breakdowns that lead to goals.

Skinner sucking is a given, but that makes for pretty boring discussion.

The people defending skinner remind me of my ea chel goalie who just skates out of the net if you give up a breakaway, or basically explains how, because the team coughed up a puck and gave a bad scoring chance against, that it's never the goalie's fault if the puck goes in, regardless of how it went in.

Hellebuyck let in a worse goal...this thread would be twice as long with people saying the same thing over and over again if Skinner let that in
