Every goalie regardless of talent will sometimes let that in, and other times won't. I always get irked by the "you have to save that" and "you have to score there" comments. Every goalie lets in goals they should save, every player misses chances they shouldn't. The important thing is the rate at which you do it.

So past the moral victories of "you know what, down 2-0 but if you keep playing that way eventually your luck will change." It's bullshit.

The first goal just can't happen. Centreman is at the dot staring at the puck on the wall where a winger and a D are already defending as his check goes right to the front of the net, takes the pass and buries it.

It doesn't matter if you play 18 minutes well in a period when you play other good teams, hell even bad ones, if you have your head up your ass for 2 minutes could very well be enough to sink you. Carolina and Boston just killing us with efficiency, letting us work hard and waiting for the lapse.
