BRUINS GDT GAME 69 7:08 PM - The battle for LAST place in the Atlantic Division??? - NESN, ESPN+, 98.5 WBZ-FM

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Oh shit. Yeah I like him, but I wouldn’t go that crazy.
Him being an RFA might work to the Bruins advantage as well.

You could easily bridge him to see if he can do it again, but then you run the risk of really having to pay him come next summer if he can pot 20+ again.
Absolutely not
People are going to need to get used to the fact the contracts we've seen in the past and the ones we're about to see aren't comparable.

Cap's about to go up pretty substantially which is going to result in a spending spree not seen in the NHL in ages. Geekie will absolutely get 6 at minimum because there's no better vice for stupidity than to give GMs far too much money to spend.

We already saw it in the NBA when their cap spiked after they cashed in on their last TV deal. Holy shit the amount of awful contracts handed out were breathtaking.

I hate how the B's sink backward into the slot area on the PK. They aren't all selling out to block shots so they end up acting as screens for whoever is in our net. They also put no pressure on puck carriers. Terrible strategy.

We already saw it with the three awful contracts handed out last summer.

I would like to see low risk contracts until the boat has been steadied. Geekie is an RFA, so we'll see what the market is.
