I don't like Carolina and they also seem to be in a small slump so hopefully we can get another W
I have no dislike of Carolina but we do indeed need another W. Nashville plays Detroit tonight and I suspect the Bruins Killers will revert to their usual mediocre game. A minor combination of Pred wins and Jets loses can have us out of the playoffs faster than you can say cosela-- coalesis-- coleacesh-- big ugly fish.I don't like Carolina and they also seem to be in a small slump so hopefully we can get another W.
"(Coelacanths) have tiny brains. A coelacanth's brain occupies only 1.5 percent of its cranial cavity. The rest of the braincase is filled with fat."
Would feel much better if Helly was in net but maybe we get big saves Dave and not big save Dave.
I hope that's kilograms and not pounds.I stepped on the scales this morning and broke 58 for the first time since Christmas.
Coach Rod punished his squad after the last loss by making them compete against him in a chin up contest. The Canes have been shutout in their two previous games. Will that motivate them to pepper us with shots tonight? Or is this an indication that they're going into one of those every-team-has-them slumps?
Given their point total and position in the standings, I'm pessimistic that we'll take this one, but once again I'll have my trusty laptop on my tummy and cheering on the Jets. But maybe this time with less beer and definitely no chips. I stepped on the scales this morning and broke 58 for the first time since Christmas.
Definitely time to update the avatar.
Well, the good news is that the average coelacanth is 200 pounds, so you're really only 64% the weight of a coelacanth. No need to worry.I hope that's kilograms and not pounds.
Yes, it's 58 kilos. I used to also quote things in pounds when talking with old people, but I've kind of lost that skill. I'm probably between 125-130. When the whole world use grams and kilograms, it makes no sense to use pounds, ounces, stones, pints, cubits, whatever.
Don't forget ... Big Save Dave is 1-0 against the Canes this year and Helly is winless against them 0-0.Would feel much better if Helly was in net but maybe we get big saves Dave and not big save Dave.
I hope that's kilograms and not pounds.

Unfortunately, most of the new weight seems to be settling on my waist and you can only stretch your leggings so far before you start getting rollovers or muffin tops. So, no beer or chips for tonight's game or I'll have to sit further away from my keyboard tomorrow.
If Rittich does get the start, I fear the Canes will end their goal drought in the most painful way.
People need to stop calling a guy with a career 0.905 "Big Save" anything.
On being given the nickname...
“I heard it first time, two days ago,” Rittich grinned after Monday’s 7-2 shellacking of the Vegas Golden Knights at the Saddledome. “It’s nice if someone give me this nickname, but it’s another nickname. I probably have some nicknames from last year — ‘Terrible, Terrible Dave’ or something like that.”
The Dude dances alot to keep nice and svelte.I hope that's kilograms and not pounds.

Yup he underwent season ending surgery today.Hurricanes losing Svech for the year potentially? Ouch.
Yeah, because Hips don't lie...................................Awesome! Carolina should be good and pissed off!
I'm not sure if Morrissey is good enough to go but honestly I'd give him a couple more games off. It looked like he tweaked his hip and hips are extremely important for a guy like jomo who puts enormous stress on them with his edgework.
I'd also put Capobianco in for Stanley but what do I know?
Go Jets Go!
That's v unfortunate. He was one of my favorite players in his draft year.Yup he underwent season ending surgery today.
Old people?I hope that's kilograms and not pounds.

Can't recall ever talking to an American about my weight. When you buy clothes or swimsuits in SanD, they ask for your size and your height so I know that 174 cm is "five eight" in American. And size is a total farce since it varies widely depending on the garment, where it was made, and who they're trying to sell it to. And if you get drinking age ID, make sure the photo is a reasonably close likeness.Old people?
Sigh.
How about when you talk to Americans?
