GDT: GAME 68 - Sunday, March 16th, 2025 - Winnipeg Jets at Seattle Kraken - 8:00pm CDT - TSN3 - CJOB/Power 97

Cool city. But if you’re in the area for a bit, Portland is worth a trip. That city is interesting for sure.
Funny... I have a good buddy who lived in Ballard and moved his family to Mercer Island. He says Seattle is a complete shithole

As for Portland, I was on a zip line tour in Coeur d'Alene a few years ago and there was a couple form Portland with us. They said the city is a shadow of what it used to be and refused to go downtown

Seattle has done a really good job not letting the Jets establish their forecheck tonight. Not the best game for DeMelo so far. I feel Fluery would be so much more effective if he chose to pass on many occasions instead of trying to skate it out himself, I notice him missing open guys during breakouts and choosing to skate it himself during which period the opposition has time to get back into position.

Dan: Evening Hayden, how much cash did you drink up last night?

Hayden: <startles like a colt> Not too much, um... hockey?

Dan: RIght you are. Good period that, better than the first hey?

Hayden: Yup, we uh, got it goin' on. Its a blast when the lads are killing it, happy to be part of it.

Dan: Did you get a new tat last night? Haven't seen that one before... <points to forearm>

Hayden: <takes off head phones and chucks them>

Lived there for several years, used to walk back from the pubs and the clubs at 2:30 in the morning. Never had a problem. Pretty safe overall, don't let the homeless scare you, they are mostly harmless.

I was just in LA a few weeks ago and downtown was a little sketchy after dark. Massive security presence around stores, pubs, malls. OTOH there are little autonomous robots zipping around delivering food and stuff...and by "zipping" I mean they'd move forward 2 feet, detect a person, stop, wait for 30 seconds, move 2 feet, detect a person, stop, wait 30 seconds...

I visited Seattle 13-15 years ago, it was beautiful and the people were great. My cousin who lives outside Seattle tells me to stay away.

Might be time for Apples to sit move Tanev to the third line and put Rasmus at centre on the 4th line for a game or two if he is feeling alright

I think that's optimal for this line-up. I'd love to see it for a look and something different down the stretch.

You aren't losing any speed with Tanev on that wing, lol.

As you said earlier, this team needs more from Nino and Apples for the minutes that line plays.

Stay outside near any fast transit or Amtrack and use a bus connection.
Google rail transit in and around Seattle
Tacoma has a great Zoo and Aquarium and the Rushton area in an Tacoma is cool, quant and a straight shot N\S to Amtrak
