GDT: Game 68 Red Wings at caps 7:00 pm et 3/18/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
If the wings win the race to WC2, the Caps are the most likely team they will face...to move the needle, the wings need to beat them in their barn...get it done guys, play a full 60(5) minutes (if required) of f____g hockey, let them know you are there to play! All points matter, but 2 is much better than 1 and 1 is way better than none...

Unlike Red Wings Caps made good moves last summer and now they are having great time. I will be happy if we could keep up with him.

So we got the Crapitals? Need to bring it like last game. Well at least Ovechkin won't break the record against us. Wonder which team gets the lucky goal? Think it will be this year.

I'm ok with a 4-3 Wings win. Ovechkin hat trick. I want to see him get the record this year. Honestly, with the Wings clearly not in a position to compete, I'd love to see the Caps win it this year and watch Ovi ride off into the sunset.

I blame that short guy in NY for this brutal schedule. Pound sand Bettman. Retire already. We all know you despise Detroit bc Mike owned you back in the day.
A - Yep, he sits in his basement devising a terrible Red Wing schedule every year.

B - Or, he has very little control over the schedule.

And as part of his plan, he also had to conspire to make sure Washington would jump from bubble team to best team in the NHL.

So, clearly it is option A
And Winnipeg too. Is this the first time in a while that both East and West are being comfortably led by "WTF?!?!" teams? Or does that happen a lot?
