He does, but peak Staal wasn’t a slouch offensively. He was trending towards being a 35-40 point defenseman before his concussion.

He looked like a beast out there. Just needs to put it on net which we know he can.

People are going to hate this because they have 10 second memories, but the closest comparable I have for Miller right now is prime Marc Staal.

He just sucks up space.

I see it, biggest difference is mostly in the immense athleticism and top speed Miller has. Better shot as well. Will he be as stalwart defensively? Time will tell, but overall he’s like a more gifted Staal.
