Post-Game Talk: Game 68: Marchand wins it on OT - BRUINS 1 Lightning 0 F/OT

I must admit i wasn't looking forward to playoffs with this team but now after the chicago,Washington series and now this road trip I'm FEELIN IT!

missed the middle due to cable issues, but got to see the last 10 in regular def.

man, that's ugly. How did we do it?

Do you mean you missed the middle period and first ten of the third? Because if so, I don't see how you could get the impression it was ugly. We were the better team in the first, got completely dominated when you weren't watching, and last 10 were pretty even. The moral of the story is you need to fix those cable issues and watch 100% of the season from now on!

GO BRUINS GO

banjo and fruit salad combo worked.

Jimmy Hayes led all skaters in hits..7, not sure if that is even counting the bone crushing hit he gave to the boards/glass.

He tried.

There is no doubt that Gus stood on his head and won that game for the Bs. Career high saves tonight and a shutout. Bs are still giving up way too many shots, but somehow they are winning with great goaltending.

Who called the sweep of the Disney trip?? :handclap::handclap:

I was saying sometime in the third that Marchy wasn't having a great game and he was going to pull something out. Wow

And to be fair, when we did get chances during the periods of suckage, they were as good as or better than the best of Tampa's chances - just no sustained pressure. They just had a lot more low to mid level chances, and a lot of possession. 8 to 0 minutes of PP helps this along as well. As did being able to hold, interfere and slash however much they wanted (seemingly)

haha

Not the game, the regular definition was ugly. Spent most of the second and 10 minutes of the third on the phone.

7 of 8 possible points against CHI, WSH, FLA, and TB? I'll take that any day of the week.

Great gsme. Gus was awesome.

7/8 against all division leading teams, amazing run!

How many playoff teams have we just randomly beaten out of pure dumb luck now?

Ive lost count. May need a list.

Didn't think the Bruins could score on a guy who's pads were 7/8ths of the height of the net. Ridiculous.

Wow, what a game, totally impressed with this team's character and work ethic. I'm starting to believe that we can play with anybody in the east outside of the Caps.

Haha, I get you now, that's quite a funny misunderstanding. Hope you got a better view of the goal.

Wow, really impressed. Never would have thought they'd take 7 out of the last 8 points.

Agreed but they're asking an awful lot from the tenders right now. Need to control the game more than this and not need tuukka and gus to keep them in it. But they've showed they're capable of skating and beating these teams
