Time to replace Roy by Farrell.

Any chances that Kapanen come back in Mtl instead of Laval after his playoff and take that 2nd line center role with Laine and Newhook ?
No. Farrell has just started to put it together. Leave him in the AHL at least until next season. Davidson wouldn't be phased if he was called up and didn't work out at first.

I like they way Heineman was eased in slowly until now but I would really try him on that second line instead of Roy. I think he would create a lot of space for both Laine and Newhook. He's strong defensively too and he's got a really good shot to.
Heineman had less TOI than Joshua Roy so it might be time for a move.
Marty didn't want to break them up when they were hot but they are stone cold now.
Heineman would have more of an opportunity to use his shot with Laine and Newhook.
The shot that was responsible for the winning goal when Ullmark couldn't smother it.

If they plan on moving Heineman up, they have to send Roy down and bring up Davidson. The Evans/Armia line still needs another heavy component to it.

Well it's because Heineman was worse than Roy last game. The second line had many chances, not sure why people are so eager to break that up when and put in Heineman who's been ice cold for a while or call up Farrell who looked ECHL caliber for around 70% of the season.

Surely they can find somebody in Laval that can fit on that 4th line that is better than Roy. I like Roy but he's just not ready for second line duties right now.

@waitin425

I think you should make a long winded multiple paragraphs + stats appreciation post for Nick Suzuki on the main boards , I think it's time for people to eat crow , this guy is an absolute animal and makes Stutzle and Larkin look like little boys. I know it's alot to ask and pretty shameless of me but I think you are a great main board instigator :popcorn::laugh:

This game has "let down" written all over it.

Let's hope the players aren't as consumed by their big win vs the Sens the other night as fans are.

They seemed to be very emotionally invested in that game.
