Eh it goes both ways. Both equally valid.

My new theory is some people have misaligned scopes when they make comments and read others’ comments. It leads to inextricable disagreements and misunderstanding. For example: the criticism of the performance of a given player in a given game — some genuinely go game by game (period by period, shift by shift) and don’t mean to make “generalizations” while others view all commentary as part of a greater trajectory.
