GDT: Game 68 Capitals @ Sharks 2pm

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Is this board safe to use again? Feels like it's been in purgatory with updates and back ups since at least December. I'm on 2 other forums that never have these issues.

As for this game, I'm recording it and hope to watch it later. Hopefully Ovechkin scores a couple but the Sharks keep it interesting,

SNOG

Caps 5 (Ovechkin, Protas, Dubois, Eller, McMichael)
Sharks 3 (Wennberg, Celebrini, Eklund)

Was able to dig up my forgotten first account from 2009 as my new one got deleted…

Think this is going to be a bit of a rough one but if we can keep it competitive at times I’ll be happy. Caps 5-2

Celebrini, Ostapchuk
Ovechkin, Strome, Wilson, Chychrun, Protas

HFB currently feels like when the lockdowns finally ended and we were all trying to re learn how to be in society. It's all a little f***y and weird.

Is drunksage even going to be able to administer the snog process!?

This sounds like a list of sandwich ingredients: mangiapane, protas, chychrun, raddysh.

SNOG: ovechkin sandwich 6
Ovechkin, mangiapane, protas, chychrun, raddysh, Wilson
San Jose 3
Celebrini, Toffoli, Ostapchuk

Kinda annoying not being able to voice my thoughts for the last game, but wanted to say that Giles seems like he was a decent get. I don't know if I want to see him as more than a 4th liner, but he has been pretty decent at that role. Looking forward to seeing Ostapchuk tonight.

Agreed, he seems like he actually has some skill and can skate pretty well, etc. That 4th line was pretty good.

Georgiev starting tonight. I applaud Grier and Co giving the Sharks fans a reason to tune in expecting Ovi to break the record tonight.

Also, are they auditioning him for an extension? Certainly feels like they're giving Georgie every opportunity to be re-signed.

Opstachuk Sharks' debut today. Ovechkin is chasing the Great One's scoring title.

Whether the Sharks win or lose doesn't really matter much. but CAPS win 5-3

I want to see great chemistry from Opstachuk, especially in protecting Celebrini and Smith.

He scores the vaunted Ovechktrick and the record is broken today.
