GDT: GAME 68 | AVS @ SENS | One Foot In Front Of The Other - Avalanche, Matt Good | You Made Me Turn This Into A GDT Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
It's easy to say this being two goals down, but I haven't been feeling this game since puck drop. It would be a different story if the Avs won last night but the Sens are not putting in the type of effort and are not paying attention to the type of details required to beat a hungry Colorado team.

I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised but expecting the worst.
We outshot them 5 to 0 in the first few minutes. From then on, we have been schooled!

Obviously not what you want to see as a Sens fan. But getting spanked can be a good thing in the long run. Shows the boys that they still have to bust their asses. Guess it all depends on how they take it. The next game will be quite telling.

Sure, but that really should have been the attitude/motivation after they lost a critical standings game to the Habs!

This sort of game doesn't bother me too much. The loss to MTL the other night was heartbreaking. But this is just one of those games where it seems nothing will go our way.

I think it'll actually be a valuable lesson. If they want playoff hockey, this is the level they better get used to. PLayoff teams like the Avs don't f around.

This is how it goes sometimes, every now & then you come up with a stinker. You would think if anyone would know this it would be Sens fans.
