We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
- If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
- Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Nonetheless, no one can blame Korpi for coaches/management not playing him. Swayman has been lousy. Not always, but his overall body of work this year has been very disappointing.
If you had told me at the start of the season that Korpi would be criminally underplayed I would have looked at you like you had grown two heads.

Disappointing would be an improvement over what he’s provided this season.
The Bruins organization needs to take a long hard look at that contract and see if they need to unload it somehow. I don’t think it’s quite there yet but another poor season like this and any value Swayman has will be tanked.
To buy him out be over 24 million at age 26 ,would be a cap hit of about 1.7 for 14 years.Cant see it
Swayman may not be the only problem with the team this year, but IMO, he has been the biggest. Just awful. I can't believe they started him again. So done with him this year.
By the way, while this forum was down Linus made the best save I've ever seen. The stop he made on Lohrei was filthy.

Im actually watching Joe Dirt 2, (with the game audio on). The movie is more entertaining. Bruins killed my Saturday nights.

Over the long season playing with heart will win a team some games, but it's no substitute for actual talent.
