Savard was actually good last year, but he's completely fallen off the map this year.

Partly his fault for not coming into camp in tip top shape. He's carrying around too much weight, and it slows him down.

Xhekaj gets way too much flack, he was playing excellent hockey for most of the season while Struble was playing like absolute ass pretty much every game until he's had to fill in for Guhle. Savard literally cannot move.

He's steadily gotten better as the year progressd. I highly doubt Hughes trades him .

I like Xhekaj plenty btw, and more than Struble... I wouldn't say excellent but for his own standards Xhekaj did improve from last season to this one - yes. But by the same notion, so has Struble.

Look, they have to make it hard for the coach and manager and only Struble has stepped up in this stretch but I will concede that Savard is rather problematic as a pairing partner.
