GDT: Game 67: Sens vs Habs, Tuesday March 18th - 7 PM EDT | TSN2, RDS

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Ottawa swept Toronto this season and so far Montreal is up 2 on Ottawa. I could handle Montreal sweeping Ottawa but it will be challenging.

Pezzetta showing more intensity at practice than he has in any game all year.

Habs have outscored Ottawa 9-3 this season and I'm sure the sens will be ready. They usually seem to get up for these games regardless.

Montreal should be up for it too, obviously.

Schedule wise, both teams will be coming off a 2 day rest.
Would be amazing to beat Ottawa. But they are ahead of us in their rebuild.

If we can beat them in a close game with good, tight defense that doesn't give them much, that will say a lot about our team.

They are rebuilt.

We aren't that far behind them and haven't graduated Hage, Fowler, Reinbacher, Demidov to name a select few.

If we make the playoffs after the start we had, that says a lot about this team since we added Carrier, Laine, and Dobes in for Primeau. Then Guhle being out and Struble stepping up has given us another weapon.

We may be able to contend with a good 2c and Demidov next year. I wonder if HuGo would use one of dmen with trade value to get a really good 1a/1b 2c. Probably would if one becomes available.
