We've been embarrassed twice by these guys this year. Can we just go out and win a 5-2 game? is that possible?

Will ESPN have the dumb af, completely useless, 15 star trackers capturing Kane and Ovie from multiple angles taking dumps in the locker room, forcing the game itself to be miniscule? If so might be worth it to watch the animated version.

It was a brisk March evening in New York City as the NY Rangers prepared to take on the Washington Capitals at Madison Square Garden. Fans flooded into the arena, filling the stands with their cheers and excitement. The anticipation was palpable as the players took to the ice, ready to battle it out for a chance at victory.

From the very start, the Rangers looked determined and focused. They moved the puck with precision and speed, testing the Capitals' defense at every turn. And it wasn't long before they struck first, with a beautiful goal from none other than Alexis Lafrenière. The crowd erupted in applause as the forward skated back to the bench, his teammates patting him on the back in congratulations.

But the Rangers weren't content to rest on their laurels. They continued to press the attack, pouring shot after shot on the Capitals' goaltender. And soon enough, they were rewarded again, this time with a goal from Kaapo Kakko. The young Finn showed off his impressive skills, weaving his way through the defense before rifling a shot into the back of the net.

The Capitals fought back, trying to regain control of the game. But the Rangers were simply too good on this night. Lafrenière scored again, showing off the kind of offensive talent that had made him such a hot prospect in the draft. And then, not to be outdone, Kakko scored his second goal of the game, drawing even louder cheers from the ecstatic crowd.

As the third period began, it was clear that the Rangers were well on their way to victory. But they weren't content to just coast to the finish. They kept up the pressure, playing with the kind of intensity and skill that made them one of the best teams in the league. And it paid off yet again, with Lafrenière scoring his third goal of the game and completing a hat trick.

The final score was 6-1 in favor of the Rangers, a resounding victory that had the whole city buzzing. Fans poured out of the arena, their voices hoarse from cheering. And the Rangers themselves celebrated on the ice, hugging and high-fiving each other as the crowd continued to roar.

It was a night that Alexis Lafrenière and Kaapo Kakko would never forget, one where they both shone brilliantly and led their team to a decisive win. And it was a night that Rangers fans would always cherish, a reminder of the kind of magic that can happen when talent and determination come together on the ice.

In an alternate universe where we're elite at developing top forwards...

You forgot 4 goals from John Druce.

The game is going to be animated?

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

And the league wonders why viewership is down. In all seriousness though I might actually watch that over clueless McDonough missing a goal or Ferraro taking an extra shot at the Rangers every chance he gets.
