In a game like this we shouldn't be discussing Hayes or Beleskey...neither should be playing.

Beleskey's wheels are non-functional, he can't be in the lineup, right now. He needs a fresh start next season. Hayes...he brings nothing. Zip. He's got a couple assists in his last 10, or whatever...so what? He skates around, always out of position, and generally clueless. The puck has to hit his stick like a magnet in front for him to get a shot. This kind of zombie player out there makes everyone on the line worse.

I'm amazed a guy with good size and decent wheels can be so clueless about how to get a rebound and shot.

I can only imagine that either these are only seeing the lineup because of money. And that is gag worthy at this point of the year during a race.

There are half a dozen passable options. Not a high bar.

I can't believe DS is letting this happen when he's in peril.
