I still don't see the bruins making it but I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do. I don't want them to just barely miss again.

I know it's only Detroit but this was the kind of game that the Bruins would lose down the stretch the last two years and thankfully they came out blazin . How can you not have some optimism when your competition for making the playoffs is the likes of the Leafs, Panthers , Ilsanders etc ?

Just saw that Malkin hit on Wheeler. Wheeler hung himself out to dry. So sick of the drama after someone gets popped who asks for it. They used to say you took a hit to make the play...you smiled...and moved on.

That hit by Malkin on Wheeler was from the last time the two teams played, not tonight. And while Milbury was Ok with the hit, I thought Malkin got him in the head. Generally speaking, I think Malkin gets away with a lot of cheap ****. There was a game a few weeks ago where he wrecked a guy that didn't even have the puck and wasn't called.

I'm glad Wheeler pummeled him and hope he does it again.

I only got to see it once...maybe missed a little head contact...but it looked like he took advantage of a guy that put himself in prime position to be hit and then was angry when he got hit...no love for either...

Anyway, I hope the Bruins realize they'll use less energy playing offense than chipping out. Everybody look to eat.

which realm are you referring to?

Jimmy is playing a metaphysical chess match with the Red Wings psyche and wreaking havoc.

But in the Physical realm: No.

'It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you don't stop' - Chinese proverb

I'm not saying Jimmy is wholly responsible for the current predicament, but even the most stone-hearted soul must acknowledge that this can't be a coincidence

alright I think I'm loving C.Miller.

He has the potential to be a real complete package.

Hits, tough...will throw down if he has to. Skating, shot, outlet passing.

I love it. Hope he continues to take those next steps in his game, could be something special. I see Top 4 guy.

I'd go with Blidh or Kuraly myself. Beleskey should be shelved for this season IMO.

Both decent options as well.

I wasn't impressed with Kuraly in his first stint, generated zero offensively in terms of chances or scoring opportunities. But he seems to have found some offense at the AHL level so a 2nd look at him wouldn't hurt. I did like his physical game combined with his very good skating.

God, I hate Olczyk.

Moore pokes the DET goalie after the whistle and he "speared" him.

Sheahan does similar to Rask...and it's a strong play going to the net and crickets about the extra poke.

Despite his talent, I have never been a Malkin fan. On the other hand, I always liked Wheeler and wished he played that physical when he was here.
