Post-Game Talk: GAME 66 - THE BEAR doesn't want to hibernate - BRUINS 3 Florida 2

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
Is it just me or has this post trade team done a better job of getting (and keep) pucks deep? It also seems like they move the puck quicker.

Something I'm going to keep an eye on the rest of the season is who starts to be a "tone setter" and steps up as a leader. I think you saw it last night with Zaddy. I know Pasta wears and "A" and is already a leader, but late in the 3rd he was busting his ass on the forecheck and laid the body on a few guys. It was the kind of play where you felt like the guys on the bench took notice.

Thursday will be the first game this group will play a team that will absolutely match their intensity full 60. TB and Florida tried to sleepwalk past Boston and
paid for it. That won't be the case Thursday night in Ottawa.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the season, games like this will build the foundation and leadership of the next era of Bruins hockey in the years ahead. Really really proud of Pasta,Zadorov,Kastelic,Lohrei tonight. Shout out to Lauko too for jumping in on that little brawl in the third too. Really gutsy performance tonight and easily the most exciting game all season. They played for each other tonight and that's something they really haven't done all season aside from a couple games here and there.

Earlier in the season guys would just sit and watch their teammates get hit and not push back. That seems to have changed these past few games

Best game of the year. Granted they didn't have Tkachuk and Ekblad (busted).
They still don't play with any chipiness. Lauko and Zad are the only ones that do.
FLA still had picnics in front of the net. Except for some times when Zad was out there.

Hope they don't play their way out of a top10 pick.

We didn't have Charlie or Hampus?

No Lindholm or McAvoy..... also, Kastelic played with chippiness.

My artistic contribution for the day!

I just went and read the GDT for the Panthers.

I mean, seriously, could there be a bigger collection of dickheads??

Like I said last night, when the trade was announced I boldly stated I'd root like hell for Marchy to win another Cup. My admiration for Marchy has done nothing but go up over the past few days -- and it started at a pretty high level.

However, rooting extremely hard for that group of cowardly steroid trolls to go down in flames.

And I'm not going to root for the Panthers, either.

It did not take long to read

If the Bruins were ever really a one-line team, this has to be it.

Why do that?

Wanted to see their reaction to Bennett finally having to answer the bell.

Oddly they had nothing to say.

Entire thread (all four pages) largely consisted of them claiming that Pasta is nothing more than a cherry picker.

They also act like Marchand was drafted, developed, and spent his entire career with them. It was kind of cute. You know..... in a sad and pathetic kind of way.
