One goal for Gabby, two more to go.

If Price doesn't come back soon, Leafs might not matter for the Blue Jackets. Montreal might become the team that matters. Also, with a TB win, Montreal is now the first wild card team as of now.

I'm focused on the Metro division standings now. Gun for the 2 or 3 seed in the Metro and it doesn't matter what any of the Atlantic division teams are doing.

Fun game to go to. Bought my lady friend a Boll T-shirt jersey (her favorite player) and her little sister got a puck from Horton. Good night.

To theg ame. Thought we played well, thought we should have won. The 2nd goal for SJ was kinda soft, but the rebound should have been cleared. Dubi should have been on his man on the first goal, and we don't get scored on on their 3rd goal if Letestu doesn't slip on the 2 on 1. Them the breaks.

We got a point. Wiz's shot was wow. Nobody really overly impressed me live except the entire Johansen line and Umberger. Bob was pretty solid. I'll take the point, should have won though. Hello 2nd in Metro. Hopefully there to stay

Great game, i still find myself waiting for that shoe to fall off though, gotta kick that habit as this is a jacket clue like we've never seen.

Really enjoyed the game tonight and got home just a short time ago. The tight forechecking made for ragged play at times but it was a good hard-fought game. I have say I was disappointed to see what seemed like such a small crowd for this team that has momentum and is bearing down for their stretch run

I have not gone back through all of the posts and I'm sure someone has already commented on how much this team seem to miss AA. His absence was certainly noticeable......but understandable.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the attendance as well.

Whats weird, I thought it was going to be an awful crowd during pregame and a few minutes before puck drop. It was a late arriving crowd, but it was pretty much packed to capacity in the upper bowl. Not closei n the Lower Bowl, however

THe CBJ do have input I'm sure but I don't think they are involved in small things as tweets etc... I do remember Jim Day getting moved from CBJ broadcasts after he made comments when asked not to do so from the CBJ, but he still works for FOX... he does the Red games...

I know he was called in for once saying "Minnesota" in a manner mimicking how a Scandinavian Minnesotan might pronounce it. I remember thinking it was funny at the time. Apparently the Jackets brass did not.

So, it seems that we on the Sharks board have selected the Jackets as their Annual Eastern Conference Team that we jump on the playoff bandwagon. I think I am rubbing off on them. :)

Yes upper bowl was rocking tonight, lots of firefighters and police around me in 206 for the first responders night. Crowd probably close to what we saw vs Detroit the other night, maybe a bit less considering the lower bowl.

I will come out and say this, if they can't sell out the building next Friday vs Rangers I'm not sure we will see another sell out this year outside of vs PIT and maybe CHI.

Nice. I was in 216, had some friendly people around me.

And we are jumping on the Sharks band wagon too, to be honest most of the NHL would like to see the Sharks make it (SCF).... it's about time in our opinion, eh.

Translation: Lower bowl prices too much.

I agree. I was there. In the lower bowl...with free tickets:)

I haven't seen in mentioned here (maybe in a different thread), but Horton purchased 1,000 tickets for first responders to attend last night. :handclap:

The way SJ was playing I thought there was little chance for us. No AA, missing two of our top D. If we keep playing like that we have a good chance to finish second.

Wiz's goal was sick. You can't get more upper corner than that.

The official attendance was 13,800, or so, a bit more than Detroit, I think.

When I saw Wiz winding up for that slapper, I said out loud, "Oh ****".

....you knew what was coming

That was a rocket! Big slip-up to let Wiz close in on goal all alone like that. That shot might have gone straight through Stalock, had he gotten in the way! Loved Wiz' reaction, too!

I really like watching the Sharks - big, fast, aggressive, with plenty of skill, too. Good model for the Jackets to emulate!

Last night was one of those games that makes me think this team really is different and becoming something special. They outhit and outshot one of the most talented, fastest teams in the league without 2 top 4 defensemen. Additionally, past teams would have folded after falling behind in the 3rd. For all of the OMG moments he gives us in the defensive zone, Wiz makes up for it with his offensive ability and leadership. Picking the top corner with that blast, as far out as Staylock was, was just a thing of beauty! It was a point in the standings we don't get typically and I liked the players post-game reaction. I love the stretch drive! :yo:
