That was some really good possession time by the Kraken. What is going on?

I have to say that the Caps do look lackluster. Like they had expected us to just roll over. Liking the way the team is playing.

Every time Dunn has the puck on his stick, I am concerned he will trip and just turn it over.

Also, I wish the skaters were a little more decisive. So many times I see them in position to finish a check and are ready for it and then they just bail out. All it it does it get them out of position and lets to an attack the other away.

Not saying we need to chase the opponent for checks but rolling out too late is just leading to attacks the other away.

When the Caps upped the physicality a little the Kraken's momentum just stopped. But it looks like the game is back to the open skate look.

Ok. I saw that in the highlights, Wilson totally took Mahura's left left from behind him and basically yanked him down. Sneaky but those plays can end up pretty badly.

Wilson's roid rage was building up, it was easy to see this sh*t coming. The league loves him tho.

Yeah. I don't get why. They really seem to put the hammer down on some players like Torres, etc. but give a free pass to people like Wilson.

Who knows. The Old Boy's club loves him I guess but that's my best guess. The league can be a clown shown at times.

Yeah. Seems like everytime we become physical, our play steps up but if the other team starts matching it, we fall apart.

Yup. This team is too light weight. Our D, for example, are mostly offensive minded creators but not the most physical at the back end. I'm very far from a troglodyte but the ice cannot always be tilted against you on the physical side.

Looks like the caps were saving a bit for the third period. They've started to push now.

I do understand that if the hits are lopsided for one team, it generally means that you are chasing the puck which is a bad sign. But, a right timed hit can also change momentum and generate turnovers.

I never played hockey growing up so don't know if hitting can be taught or coached to players. We don't really have any players in our top-9 that finish checks.
