Donny is a magician and many here want him out.
Put it in neutral. Those assets needs to turn into something first. You get way too high every time. It’s good he has assets but if he turns it into into poo (and we have seen failed drafts) then it’s worth nothing. So give it more than a day at least

I have never seen him sulk, so I doubt he will start now

Thank you for pointing out my crappy point. It didn’t read the way I intended. And I’m not going to embarrass myself further by trying to explain it.
No worries

how about this instead "then Marchand scores an accidental own goal to eliminate Florida" :naughty:

This. It's written in the stars already

R1: Leafs lose again against Bruins in a game 7, this time on their own home ice as Carlo blocks a Fraiser Minten shot and deflects it into his own net.

R2: Marchand flubs a last second breakaway again in a close out game. Many in hockey media question if he intentionally did it, as Pasta scoops up the puck and roofs it for the series GWG

R3: of our high of winning 2 series in such a fashion, a rather tame 6 game series against the Caps sends us to the final .

Cup: this time we don't have any Binnington in our way or Marchand botched line changes, instead we play Edmonton. Max Jones takes his 100th penalty of the playoffs and Trent Frederic snaps his stick on a clearing attempt. Elias Lindholm redeems himself for everything and all is forgiven. He nets the PP GWG on home ice as Boston erupts into chaos

Middlestadt had a nice game. He brings a skill set that was sorely lacking among the Bruins forwards, outside of Pasta. The ability to hang on to a puck and make a quick play in tight and feed passes through sticks and legs. That's how he sprung Koepke.
I
Yes he was good, considering the situation, hopefully he can become a leader.

He was excellent, you can see that the offensive skill is there, the compete level was very good too, great debut for him.

I've been a fan for a long time.

IMO his best attribute has always been finding the open parts of the ice on offense. He's got a knack for it. Very good passer and he steps in as probably the 2nd best passer among the forwards, a little better than Zacha, who i think many will compare to as similar forwards. Zacha is superior at faceoffs though, which is why Casey should be on the wing as his line's playmaker.

Mitts - playmaker/driver
Lindholm - faceoffs/defense

Get them a shooter ( Geekie? ) and I think it could be decent 2nd line.

I don't think so.

Honestly, it wasn't a very well-played game by either team.
Nothing obvious, but what stood out to me was the B's attitude and compete level, considering what they've been through the last 48 hours

..and Swayman looked like a top-notch goalie again

although coaching (or lack of) is still an issue
