I don't know if this was their best game overall this season, but it was a hell of a lot of fun to watch.

I so, so miss this style of play. And I'm not just talking about physical play. Their defensive team structure, taking away time and space, creating time and space, etc. I haven't seen it in a long time and I was so, so happy to witness this tonight.

Speech to text.

That was the most enthralling game this year. This was a playoff game. We  needed this. EVERYONE was ready. Every player. The physicality came back. The intensity came back. The hate came back. Folks, THIS is what has been missing. If the Bruins have found this game again? Look out. Because wow. That was unexpected, but MUCH needed. It's been so long since we had 3 Bruins in the box.

I loved thar. PLEASE keep doing it. f*** the Leafs. Long live our former Bruins. Maybe we need to do this every game.

You ALREADY know the drill!

These last 3 games have been this team sending a message to management that they deserve reinforcements by 3pm tomorrow. And I'd agree with that, get the boys some quality depth guys at the very least. They've been top 5 in the league all season long, they've earned it.

What a fun game! Was Matthews even playing? What a terrible "statement" game by the Leafs. They totally pysched themselves out. Then they gave up in the third. Pathetic.

I cannot complain about the effort and physical play from the Bruins. But as others have noted, they don't really have the horses, they are missing one or two pieces in that department. Frederic disppointed at the end there but otherwise he was great and the team brought their balls and embarassed the Laffs. Once again, Matthews?
