Corrado just explained what Stanley did wrong. Bad/poor instincts when he just stood there after that puck got picked off. No anticipation whatsoever.

Why is everyone shitting on Stanley on that play?

He held the line (should have gotten the puck deep, but not terrible) when he had support. It's the right read. They flew a guy behind him. Miller needed to slide over there, he had support from the backchecker on the 2nd Canes F

People don't understand how the game is played or the system the Jets are using... or they'll just shit on Stan for anything that happens while he's out there, whether it's his fault or not
I am more liable to listen to Frankie on TSN as to what Stanley did wrong.

Stanley steps up to hold the line. Four Canes in front of him, no problem

Here's where the puck gets played up the boards. You can see Miller's stick on the left of the frame. There's no other Canes forward to worry about, he needs to switch and go to the puck immediately and have Stan track back to his spot:

At this point, he still hasn't gone to the puck carrier. He's WAY late. He should go to him, and Stan will fill thr middle and pick up the Canes player at the bottom of the screen. So Corrado was wrong, Miller had no immediate responsibility on his side of the ice:

That one is on Miller

See how well Stanley is liked in the room, when he is contributing to at least one bad goal against per game in the playoffs.

Well, he's wrong. See pics, go back and watch the vid if you want. Miller was late to read the situation, end of story

Stans big f*** up on the play was not getting the puck deep. Turnovers at the offensive blueline turn into scoring chances like this way too often. It's why Ehlers drives me nuts sometimes, he does it a lot
