I can see Ozzy stepping in for Mickey…No idea for Ken although I will say that I’d love to see Trev getting behind the mic in the booth.

There are honestly very few players in the NHL stronger than Ed. Man just rag dolls guys out there.

He's going to eventually get sick of guys cheap shotting him and really go.

Mo I think enjoys riling the other team up and drawing penalties but I think Ed's eventually going to start dropping a few guys a season.

Not quite the 4-0 game I hoped for, but I think this turned out to be even better.

Beat them up both literally and on the scoreboard.

Pretty good return for Pete in nets.

Nice to see a goalie not stop 75+ shots against the wings for once………

Hopefully this gives the team the boost they needed to have a successful final push.


Habs should start fazing out; I give them another week to two weeks tops.

Columbus will finish at about .500 from now until the end.

Bruins will fizzle out like a 6 hour open can of coke.

That Leaves Ottawa and NYR to battle for 2 spots. Ottawa I think makes it in. So it’s DET vs NYR. I don’t see why this team can’t make it over NYR who’s having major struggles of their own.

I’ll go as far as saying that if Detroit makes the playoffs, I wouldn’t be surprised if they won a series or gave whoever they played a very long and hard series. This team when firing on all cylinders is a nightmare matchup for any team in the east. The top 6 is scary good, PP resembles 2008-2009 season red wings at times, 2 big mean heavy hitting defensive parings… if ole St Pete gets hot, you have a dynamic goalie in nets as well.

Going to be a fun race to watch nonetheless. Hopefully this is win #1 of a nice winning streak to come.

I actually kinda rooted for them way back when. These days though, they have had so many good players make their way into and back out of their the roster, and accomplish nothing, that I can't even feel sorry for them anymore. With another team I would say 'they just need to blow it up and start over' but they just keep blowing it up, starting over, over and over again without any results.
I do feel sorry for their fans

I do hope with Soderblom we see that typical development of a really big-size player. Now he is miles better than he was 2 years ago. This gives some hope that he could push even more in that direction and we'll get someone who is unstoppable for defense.
