GDT: Game 65: Red Wings vs sabres 7:30 pm et 3/12/25

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. I don’t mean to be negative because I love seeing them put up 7 goals, but these are the kind of games that frustrate me because it gives me hope. This team can’t make up its mind on whether they want to actually compete or tank. I do not want to be perennially stuck in that purgatory zone that the Wild used to be in.

Yeah. Qualitatively he looks a little off. Not as dominant. Hopefully he's just getting past some sickness or something.
 
It won't be long before teams realize not to f around with Simon.

Wings, if you are gonna fight still this season, finish the mission, I can't take another almost like last year.

Also finally a game we actually respond to physicality with our own and we win! Just shows proof that you can’t backdown from the stuff, when teams start being really physical with us we need to respond and not wilt.

As Mick would say, he's got a burr in his saddle. Regardless of how well he does, its entertaining goaltending nonetheless.

Agreed…Looked a lil’shaky in the 1st, but was solid for the 2nd and 3rd.
 
That was fun to watch. Finally got rewarded for playing better than the other team.I like seeing Ed's surly side, but both him and Mo need to recognize they might get suckerpunched.
At this point, I'd love to see them bring up Watson. This team plays better when they feel like they can do some of the bullying.

Watson Rasmussen Shine line is something i'd test for a few games.
