GDT: Game 65: New York Rangers @ Winnipeg Jets, 8pm ET, MSG

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. It’s staggering how bad this team is in the defensive zone. It truly looks like it’s almost entirely due to laziness from the core players. The new players all seem to be trying non stop and the core guys just plod around waiting for someone else to take care of everything. It’s truly is an indictment on the fortitude and commitment of these guys.

You get within 2 wins of playing for the Stanley Cup last season and this putrid effort night in night out is how you follow it up? There is no more appropriate word than gutless. That’s what they are.

Florida lost in the SCF and came out gang busters even better the next season. Our guys clearly spent all summer reading their clippings and leaning on the excuse that “oh we went deep better take it easy this summer”. Look no further than someone like Trocheck. All effort all the time last season, this season is just coasting and gliding and being 2 seconds behind in every play. It’s laziness.
