Schedule is rough starting tonight. They are done.

I think we can get a pretty good LD or 3C this year at 12 or 13. If we stink next next year, it wouldn’t really matter how deep the 26 draft is, we’d be picking early.

He's clearly having an off year, but that isn't true even in the slightest. Guy has consistently been a top goalie in the NHL since he stepped into the NHL, and has been the best playoff goalie going by stats over the last 3 years.

Not counting his Vezina season he has been very average in the regular season.

He numbers are in fact declining.

Not even close, average in 23-24 was .903 average in 22-23 was .904
And in this career worst season Igor is still top 10 in the NHL in GSAE & WAR. People can say whatever about the contract but they have been spoiled by being a fan of a team with elite goaltending for 30 years, what we're seeing this season is how our team looks quite good but not elite goaltending.

.916 was 10th best in 2022-2023 (Gustavsson and Swayman were in the top 10 with 39 and 37 games played, respectively, that year) and .913 was tied for 10th best in 2023-2024 (three guys with sub 40 games played were in the top 10, two of which played sub 30 games)

What good are draft picks if we can't develop properly? This organization would f*** up a wet dream.

Yeah at that draft spot we could snag a beaut. There are a handful of players at that spot who would be available that could be difference makers.

The problem is, no matter how deep the draft next year we may not be in a position to draft around 13-14 anyway so I say we take advantage of what this draft has to offer. And not to be a downer, but I just have 0 confidence in this team this year for a playoff run.
