My wish list for this game.....a win !

Would love to see an initiate prick mode early type of contest for a change.....Rempe-Laf-Trocheck-Kreider -Carrick-Cuylle-JT-Berard-Othmann .....that is 9 forwards that can play that game in the net front area after whistles and on draws . There is no good reason not to do it . A shove , helmet push ,e stick whack or whatver as to not draw a penalty and might get a retaliatory call by doing so. This laying back skating away with tails between the legs has to stop .

If they want tobe a part of the solution....just do it . Geesh....it is sooooo simple !!! Establish that type of game early and FINISH the damn checks every chance you get . We are so ciose to being a Rec team now it is not funny , There are too many that don't fear losing their spots on the team next season .

I;m not sure why Drury has not fired Lavi already...doing so and maybe a decent finish might be in his best interest to save his own job .

I'm still hoping for some playoff hockey, but this is where I'm at 100%. Would somehow be an even deeper level of pain to pick like 10th-13th this year, then continue this bottom out and hand the Pens a top 5 pick next season.

yes, so we 100% want to finish in the bottom 13.

A top 13 pick would be the only saving grace this season.

Who cares about next years pick, we will probably be back in the playoffs next year and we can give the pens the 20-something pick.

With the way this season has gone and everyone wanting massive core changes, I think it's much more likely the team is worse next year hence handing Pitt a higher pick.

If they are bad I want a shot at McKenna.

Plus there is a decent chance we can trade for a 26 first round pick as well. I guess we are all paranoid that we will stink next year, which is a distinct possibility.

It is? I've heard this year's draft is shallow after the top 8-10 picks and 2026 is much deeper.

Eh, just dont see it. We will be better without Kreider and hopefully Mika too, we will have JT for a full season. New coach likely. We will never be a bottom dweller with Igor, even in an off season from him we have hovering around the playoffs.

And we will have a lot of money to spend for a good UFA or two. I'd be shocked if we arent a playoff team again next year.

Why not? Teams with average to slightly above average goalies are absolutely capable of being shitty. This is not Lundqvist we're talking about here, this is Igor. 90% of his NHL career has been extraordinarily average.

He's clearly having an off year, but that isn't true even in the slightest. Guy has consistently been a top goalie in the NHL since he stepped into the NHL, and has been the best playoff goalie going by stats over the last 3 years.
