Not the worst line up. I’m interested to see Copp on that second line.

Expect a much better effort from the team tonight.. A couple of days of practice with the new guys, expect them to be much more structured. Not sure about Vatrano being up on the top line, wondering if the first thought is that Kakko would slot back in there when he returns, and that they want to see whether Copp can hang with Strome and Panarin.
Would be interesting I think to see Copp in center, with Strome on the right wing...but I think Gallant might wait a while before shifting Stome out of center...even while giving Copp the faceoffs.

its disgraceful braun-schneider isnt the pairing. i might hate nemeth 25% as much as i hate strome, and thats a lot

Well, Drury said his preference was a right side defenseman, so I suspect it's going to take a while before they give up on the Braun-Nemeth pairing...

Just inexcusable how much he is used and relied on. If you didn't know any better tuning in, you would have thought he was the top pairing defenseman with the amount he was used the other night. Just straight up arrogance and negligence from the organization (as usual).

Well I think one of the challenges has been the drop off in play on Lindgren, but I had thought from reading some of the stories, that perhaps they had lost some faith in Nemeth. I do think he stabilized his play a bit, playing with Schneider, but I think you have to give Schneider some credit there too. We'll see, but I suspect we won't see a whole lot more of Schneider this season unless there's some real failures between this new team.
And while I thought Braun could also play the left, but his comments made it sound like "I could try" rather than a guy like Zac Jones who has no problem on either side.
The whole thing does make you wonder who'd they go to in the event of an injury on the left side, next up is probably Hajek and/or Jones...with Tinordi behind them. I like Jones, but he could get steamrolled in a playoff series right now...and the other two leave a lot to be desired.

And while it should be stickied in every GDT down the (Somewhat lower stakes) stretch here, I feel like we will still riot over a single game's lineup.
We're headed to the playoffs and I'd rather not be trying new combos then. Figure out every combination now so you know what to expect.
Heck, I wouldn't complain if we saw Miller-Fox or Panarin-Zib-Kreider for a game just to see how it looked.

I hope the 4th line plays well tonight, if it’s going to be Pittsburgh in the first round, there is no reason to dress Reaves for any game, who is he going to mix it up with Brian Boyle?

I think it varies by individual coach, but going with fewer or optional practices isn't uncommon....especially later in the season, and with heavy schedules like we're seeing here in the last couple of months.
With all the new guys, it would be nice to get a few more reps together ahead of a game, but I guess you need to balance that out with burning out your top minute guys. Shesterkin, Lindgren and Fox have already played more minutes this year than any previous year...and the team relies on those three pretty heavily.
