  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

SlafGoatsky is even allowed to score illegal goals, what a beast, I told you, it's the aura.

Difference being Suzuki is the one most important piece on our team, we could not survive without him, hell we wouldn't even be able to compete. Kovalev for all his skill, cannot be said the same. Points or not.

It's not just Kovalev. i'd like to point out Saku was arguably just as good as Suzuki, if not better before his knee injury. As others pointed out, he didn't have a Caufield or even a Slaf.

He had Mr October

Saku never had a Caulfield. He had Kovalev at the end, but despite all his talent Kovy didn't have CC's consistency of effort.
This consistency of effort, involvement in the play without the puck and how he developped his playmaking while injured are what make him so effective now that he he found back his shooting. He used to be a heck of a shooter, now we see a complete NHLer...
