GDT: Game 65: Montreal @ Seattle, March 12, 10:30 PM ET | TSN2, RDS, KHN, KING 5, KONG

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Rough period for Slaf this reminds me of that horror show earlier this season.
The only difference is the posts.
Seattle seem like they have a boatload more talent than we do.
We are not even close to getting inside that D.

For Slaf?

He was no better or worse than the whole team. No point singling one guy out when entire team looks like shit

Who gives a shit about this year though? Seriously. Hughes probably wanted to sell but caved because his team wanted to try to make it.

Problem is that HuGo would probably prefer to have Heineman or Newhook on the PK but coaching staff wants to win

Some people don’t get it. They just defend management through everything

Can’t give up a 5th round pick, that would kill the rebuild

I agree.

I think so far management has done a decent job rebuilding this team to where they are but there was no excuse not to punt Pez, find a semi capable 13th forward center who you can actually trust on the pk and 10 minutes of ice

Still a long way to go but some small moves would have at least helped keeping players in their roles

No they wouldn't. Slow and knocked on his ass more than once meanwhile he's got that one handed stick wave going. Suzuki and Caufield had jump and were alone for the most part on most shifts. Slaf was no where near the net when the puck arrived. That isn't going to work.

The whole team is falling over themselves, its a joke you are singling one guy out

Pez isnt an NHLer but the least he could do is bring some hits and energy like he when he first arrived

Now he skates aimlessly

No idea why they sat around all yr with him in the pressbox
He has no idea what Marty wants from him, and I don’t blame him. The two guys we have that were always physical and throwing the body or dropping the gloves were Pezzetta and Xhekaj. Both guys got the bench treatment. Now neither guy does it like before.
