GDT: Game 65: Montreal @ Seattle, March 12, 10:30 PM ET | TSN2, RDS, KHN, KING 5, KONG

  • HFBoards is doing server maintenance Thursday March 13th at 9 AM GMT 5 AM EDT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Also, no forward has scored for montreal outside of the first line since armia in Edmonton.

You have to think someone other than the first line is due for a goal or two tonight.

Get a couple goals from then other lines maybe squeeze out another goal from the top line.... that might be enough to get 2 points here.
Evans has scored 1 goal on a goalie in the last 28 games. Anderson is extremely injured, so he gets a pass. Heineman hasn't produced anything since coming back but has made some nice plays, he needs to get on the board soon. Gallagher should be close to 20 goals by the end of the season so can't really expect much more, and Dvorak is a lost cause offensively.

We need Laine back, Roy to start playing like last year, and Newhook to step up. Besides Evans and Armia, I don't think you can really expect the other forwards to give more.

We almost blew a 3-0 lead despite the top line being excellent, which isn't encouraging. The Laine/Newhook/Roy trio needs to get it done because the others are more grinding/defensive/tertiary scoring.

We need some secondary scoring in a bad way................still somewhat disappointed we didn't get some kind of 2C guy at the deadline, but hey, it is what it is.............
The boys other than the 1st line need to score guys!!

Is Laine in tonight???

Blowing 3-0 leads has been a concern this year. The good news is that they didn't actually blow it this time.

When teams go on streaks... they find different ways to win, and eventually the other lines are going to find a goal or two no matter how mid they are.
