I understand not wanting to break up Tatar-Nico-Mercer but switching Tatar and Bratt I think would work wonders. Bratt has thrived with Nico and Tatar could be the perfect straight line "be where I need to be when I need to be" player to compliment the fanciness of Hughes and Timo.

Boquist has played very well lately. He’s able to play the forechecking with some board work style and now we are seeing some of his skill start to emerge. He is a talented kid and needed to learn to play with NHL pace and effort and defense. It has taken him several years. My guess is he’s a good template for not giving up on another Swedish winger.

Ruff very rarely gives you the starting goalie before pre game warm ups, but one of our beat writers/team employees usually tweets out who is in the starters net in the morning.

As far as I see, no one did so this morning, unless I missed it. And we appeared to have a full team morning skate, as the lines were tweeted out, but nothing about who was in the starters net.
