And then it'll take some awareness to challenge, not wait for a mountain dew drinking guy upstairs to look at five situations in slow-mo from three different angles to give you a signal.

Agree 100%. Call should be made real time. 10-20 seconds tops to challenge.

Take away the screen on bench. Easy to challenge then..No contact upstairs. You want challenge it's on what you see nothing else

Agree, it almost seems like the linesman give the coaches a heads up.

A thing I hate extra much about the challenges is that the bench actually gets time to think about wether they want to challenge. They should at most get two seconds, a simple question as the ref skates by. If they want to have it it should be by gut feeling, not some guy reviewing the play on an iPad before deciding. Yes or no? Nothing? Drop the puck!
