They’re not mutually exclusive.Do you want to have a slightly better team to watch in March-mid April or a shot at having a much better team to watch next season? I know what my pick is.

If they weren’t already trending towards the bottom as it was this would carry more weight.Do you want to have a slightly better team to watch in March-mid April or a shot at having a much better team to watch next season? I know what my pick is.
They want a Left shot to open the one times from Smith running it. That’s why Liljegren didn’t work. Also if that’s a right shot they don’t have a forehand pass to Celebrini.I agree, although since Liljigren saw time on PP2 he would have been the next man up.
Good thing we traded Jake Walman, this defense is so much better without him.
All those guys that you're crying about losing for a month and a half are being converted into more valuable ammo that can be used if they strike out in free agency (a decently sized possibility) to get better players in trade than they were able to add to the team this past offseason. They’re not mutually exclusive.
All I did was complain about the compete level. Calm down.![]()

starting to see the issues with smith with celebrini against a team that neutralizes smith effortlessly
i still don't like them together
how the f*** can the avs afford to add brock nelson
I'm sorry I was finally able to figure out how to watch this game. This is painful.
i guess it's hard to expect much in this one given the talent disparity. the isles game should be worthwhile given they are tearing down too. That Walman trade still feels like the team is tearing it down. This game feels like the team is tearing it down. Draft picks are a crap shoot unless you get high up in the draft. This team needs to show improvement next year because this is not watchable.

oh okay we're gonna start these guys on the pp.
What you actually did was complain about the sell-off because you think there's some reason we need to have guys like Nico Sturm for the last month and a half instead of a pick that we can use for something else. All I did was complain about the compete level. Calm down.
You're not wrong. I don't like the walman move, I don't see what return we can get from edm that will make it ok. but maybe grier has something brewing.Yeah. My whole thing is Are the Sharks still tearing it down or are they building up? The trades they have made make me think they are still tearing it down, despite Celebrini and Smith playing at the NHL Level. What is the strategy here? Get another top pick and then what. Tear it down even more? Walman was not a top caliber defensemen, but I feel like he provided some kind of Stability. Now they have Farraro and he is inconsistant and might be traded too. After tomorrow their top D man is who? Liligren? They have to move forward.
