GDT: Game #64: Oilers @ Sabres - 5 PM - SNW

I know they had the boards problem but jebus games are taking along time to play since 4nations. i know they increased the adds for that but ever since the games are preceding at glacial pace. So many add breaks and they come back and not ready to drop puck, constant delays.

NHL for awhile making a commitment to try to get games played with 2.5hrs speeding things along. This game will be 3hrs long. Its creeping up. So many delays getting pucks dropped and players ready at dot. Get your shit in gear NHL.

Not to mention that watching it on Sportsnet is f***ing terrible entertainment. I mean outside of the actual action what do you get: repetitive commercials and segments, boring or no interviews, sleepy analysis, and you get to see the same pre-recorded version of SN Central twice.

It's truly dreadful TV, an act of masochism each time one watches.

Not even going to get into how impossible these games are to watch these days if you don't live in the viewing area.

OH JESUS YES.

I forgot to get to the in-game crap. The SN production team is absolutely f***ing terrible. I mean the amount of time it takes for them to clip replays is embarrassing. So you get this dead air of Louie gabbing about something that should be a replay instead of the replay. You end up getting that replay but then it takes too long in total so you miss the face-off. How many f***ing times does that happen a game???

And then yeah, lack of relevant replays or the inability to have a few replays when there's multiple events. Just terrible production all around.
